I will be unavailable for the next few days (potentially 2 weeks) with all the High Holy days so please don’t be disheartened if I don’t reply right away.

To keep you thinking over this time, I will leave you with this quote which I hope will touch your heart and open your soul to the truth:

And to Zion will come a redeemer, and to those who have turned from sin in Jacob (Isaiah 59:20)

You might recognize this quote as the heading of this webpage. Isaiah unequivocally tells us when the Messiah will come. Isaiah unequivocally tells us to whom the Messiah will come. Isaiah unequivocally tells us that the Christian understanding of the role of the Messiah is the polar opposite to the Jewish Messiah.

So to those who really care about the Messiah, and to those who really care about what Isaiah teaches us: turn from sin! Only then, will the messiah come to redeem us…
