I had a look at a Christian Bible translated to Hebrew (http://www.kirjasilta.net) and found two very interesting passages.

John 19:37 pretends to quote the Jewish Bible and it says:

וְהִבִּיטוּ אֵלָיו אֵת אֲשֶׁר דָּקָרוּ (and they will look to HIM concerning who was pierced)

This quote, from Zechariah 12:10 in Hebrew looks like this:

וְהִבִּיטוּ אֵלַי אֵת אֲשֶׁר דָּקָרוּ (and they will look to ME concerning who was pierced)

Notice the extra letter has been added by the Christian Bible to the second word ‘Elai’ אֵלַי

Lets see where Romans quotes Isaiah 59:20

Romans 11:26:

וּבָא לְצִיּוֹן גּוֹאֵל וְיָשִׁיב פֶּשַׁע מִיַּעֲקֹב (and a redeemer will come to Zion and WILL BANISH SIN FROM Jacob)

Compare with Isaiah 59:20:

וּבָא לְצִיּוֹן גּוֹאֵל, וּלְשָׁבֵי פֶשַׁע בְּיַעֲקֹב (and a redeemer will come to Zion TO THOSE WHO HAVE TURNED FROM SIN, in Jacob)

As you can see in the Hebrew, there are a few differences which clearly shows that that the original Hebrew has been mangled.

What I find interesting, is that someone who speaks Hebrew was translating this book, and when they went to quote the Jewish scriptures, they saw how clearly the Christian Bible misquotes it and then had to intentionally change the words! I wonder who this was, and how s/he felt about doing that?

Either way, these two examples are very obvious ‘smoking guns’ that the authors of the Christian Bible had very little fidelity to the Jewish Bible.
